Q: What Time Do Classes Start?

A: That depends on where you live. People attend these workshops from all over the world. This class starts at 3PM afternoons in Seattle. That’s a different time from most of our other courses. Here are the start times for time zones in the United States:

6PM – Eastern (New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Florida)
5PM – Central (Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas)
4PM – Mountain (Denver)
3PM – Pacific (Seattle, Los Angeles)
2PM – Alaska
1PM – Hawaii

For international participants, follow this link to see how 3PM in Seattle translates to time zones around the world: What time is 3PM in Seattle? Here are some example start times for different cities:

11PM – London, Dublin, Algiers, Lagos
Midnight – Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Zagreb
1AM – Athens, Jerusalem, Kyiv
2AM Wednesday – Moscow, Dubai
3AM Wednesday – Tashkent
4AM Wednesday – Islamabad
5AM Wednesday – Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta
6AM Wednesday – Hong Kong, Beijing, Perth
7AM Wednesday – Tokyo, Seoul
8AM Wednesday – Melbourne, Sydney
9AM Wednesday – Vladivostok
10AM Wednesday – Auckland

Q: How Long Are Classes?

A: Each class is roughly 90 minutes long, with an additional 30 minutes for audience questions. The Q&A is typically pretty valuable, so plan to stick around.

Q: How Many People Can Attend Each Webinar?

A: Our Webinar tool, GoToWebinar, has a limit of 1,000 attendees per class. Based on the popularity of our other free training, we expect to reach that limit on most classes.

Q: Can I Download Recorded Copies of Classes?

A: We record a high-resolution copy of each class, and we plan to make recorded copies available for a slight fee.

Q: How Can This Be Free?

A: We are trying to make a big splash, and we love working with a large audience. Help us spread the word. If we continue to attract a full audience, we’ll be able to keep offering these types of free courses for InDesign, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and other Adobe products.

Q: Can I Post an Invitation on my Blog?

A: Yes. Please help spread the word. We need as many people as possible enrolled to make this free class format viable for us. You can post a link to the following URL, which we will keep updated as details change:

Thank you. This should be a fun course!

Could you add Berlin to your class times? I guess it’s the same timezone as Paris.

  3. Elisabeth Trostli Says:

Yes! Other classes this summer were absolutely great – Liz

  4. Rae Stanton Says:

Thank you SOOOOOOO much for this new time!!! Finally, I don’t have to wake up at 4am!!! I am SO in for this one. You guys rock my digital world.

  5. Lisa Krasnow Says:

I’m so glad you set Dreamweaver up for 3 p.m. (6 p.m. my time). I am hoping you can take a little time to show how to use Dreamweaver to create the html you can use for marketing emails that can be sent through ESPs like Constant Contact.

  6. Katia Says:

    Hi,

I’m interested in Dreamweaver course. How can I inscribe in this course?

  7. Rosette Says:

yes I would like to attend, I can always learn something.

    thanks so much,

  8. Christina Says:

I’m keen! Only have to be awake at midnight til 01:30 am South African time to attend, that may be a bit difficult.

Is there a possibility of getting the videos (for a slight fee is cool) after they have been shown? That way I can keep up during the week.

Otherwise, this course sounds great, looking forward to a break down!

  9. Cortney Says:

Looking forward to it. I just got it approved so I can do it while I am at work!!

  10. Faye Says:

No website yet (that’s why I want to learn Dreamweaver. Unfortunately, I don’t have reliable online access. It periodically drops me off completely. Is that an issue in terms of relinking to the class?

Also, I will be traveling on the 22nd of Sept. and returning on the 29th! will have to miss those classes. Would it make more sense to sign up for a later series?

    Thanks.
    Faye

  11. Lisa Krasnow Says:

I am hoping that you can cover how to use DW to create HTML emails, as only limited CSS can be used, and I’m not sure what can and what can’t be used for that purpose.

  12. Debbie In Amarillo Says:

I’m in! Can’t wait. Please add how to insert Flash into website and HTML emails.

    Thx
    Debbie

  13. Rosemarie Says:

I would love to come on your course too but 11pm is too late for me. Like Cristina above, I would like the videos, each week if possible. Small fee is not a problem. Shall I still sign up?

  14. Martina Says:

This will be tough since the classes start at midnight for me but Im waiting for so long for this course and from past experiences it will be totally worth it, you have such great instructors and the whole experience is fun and relaxed and I love it. Well, I am taking all of your classes so I must love them.
    thanks for everything!

  15. Martina Says:

    @ Faye:
I had OS issues at earlier classes and had to sign in a couple of times in a row and I never had any issue. Even when the connection is dropped you are still signed in so I think you place waits for you to connect again (I tried signing in from another OS and couldnt because I was already signed in).

@Rosemary: all courses can be bought, you can buy each week separately or whole ten weeks for a smaller price, I dont know if its ok to talk about prices here but write a mail to someone from CreativeTechs and they will tell you the details, Im sure. Its not much considering other alternatives and its worth it because the classes are really great. And they explain everything at the start of each weeks class so you will learn then if not sooner.

  16. marina Says:

Just great. Looking forward for that. In case of missing a class – is it possible to catch up?

  17. Anonymous Says:

    Please keep these courses coming!!

  20. harito Says:

I absolutely appreciate your courses, they are fantastic! I also purchased some, because they are so well done.

But 3pm pacific time means: from London all the way to Tokyo night time… hard to participate after midnight.
