Creative Tip: Free Photoshop, Photography, & Web Classes!
Interested in Adobe Creative Suite? This is a weekly newsletter for creative professionals who use Macs (but Windows users are welcome too). If you're new here, you may want to subscribe via RSS or Email or Twitter for a mix of new tips each week. Thanks for visiting!

I just spent (yet another) weekend getting our September course list posted. The upcoming class calendar is pretty cool. Take a look through the slate of upcoming free classes, and sign up for a couple that catch your interest:
Link: Photoshop Course (6-Months!)
Link: Digital Photography Course (10-Weeks)
Link: Lightroom Course (10-Weeks)
Link: Dreamweaver Course (10-Weeks)
Here is the problem: I’m leaving for an extended family vacation in two days. I’m frankly a little concerned that with so many classes starting at once, we’re not going to get the number of people we need signed up by the end of August.
Help Spread The Word! Our free training model only works when we’re sharing with a large worldwide audience. Help us keep these classes free.

Hello,
I am with the University of Oklahoma Information Technology. We would like to share your free classes to others on campus. We know we could advertise what you offer but I have heard that we could also pay for a download version of the full sessions. If that is possible, please provide more info. We would then create a website with these downloaded files so other could access anytime.
We would be happy to advertise your company and link info on this website.
Thank you so much for your consideration!

Hello! I found this website by accident and I’m happy that I did. I’m a Photoshopper that has beening thinking about learning web design. Web design has been like a monkey on my back. I can do all these great things with Photoshop, but I have no clue how to put those things to work on a website. One major thing I wanted to learn in college was web design, and my college didn’t offer it until the semester after I graduated. I was so mad. I am definitely going to sign up for your Dreamweaver course. I was just thinking I wish they had a flash course too and then I scrolled up the page and saw a big red box saying 10-week flash course. lol I’ve been wanting to learn that too. I think you all are going to be seeing a lot of me the next 10 weeks. If you all are able to make me absorb all the Dreamweaver and Flash info in 10 weeks, then I’m going to be shouting your free courses from my MySpace page to my Twitter page. lol I’m pumped up about these classes. I can’t wait for the first day of class.

I think this opportunity looks cool. The sessions take 90min of online time. How much would that translate into Megabytes per 30min.
My capacity may keep me from attending.
Hope to hear from you soon

Feeling pretty frustrated, after trying several times to install the GoToMeeting client which apparently (although it is not noted anywhere on the Citrix website or in Creative Techs) does not support Vista 64bit…..bummer, I really wanted to take this class. The error message was that the installer could not find the appropriate directory into which to install the program.
) and my enrollment given to someone else?
I hope that I can get some help before the next week’s class (I emailed Citrix’ support, we’ll see). Does anyone know whether I might be able to obtain a recorded copy of today’s class? Or whether my preregistration might fail (and due to the limited seating capacity my seat given away as I appear to be a no show
