Here is the full video from Art’s talk. This video is available free, and won’t expire. If you want to encourage more guest events like this, make sure to leave a note of thanks in the comments below. Even better, post a message on Twitter thanking Art Wolfe (@artwolfe) and liveBooks (@liveBooks) for making yesterday’s event possible.
The larger worldwide audience we can attract to these live events, the more we’ll be able to attract the best presenters to our Seattle classroom! So pick a social network site and help us pass this video along.
Note: We’ve setup a NEW iTunes Podcast feed with our latest videos. You can downloads Art’s talk to your iPod, as well as Lesa Snider’s Photoshop talk from last week. (Does not include the Q&A).

I will be there tomorrow, as well as 10/13, for Art Wolfe class! Very cool. Loved Lesa’s presentation, and the chairs are most excellent. Thanks.
Now, THIS is someone to hear and see. I really hope you’ll post this talk as I won’t be able to make it. Thanks for Lesa’s also.
Saw this info and it sent me to a calendar for a minute. I saw Wednesday on the top here & it is actually Tuesday. It is showing the date for John Greego’s class on Digital Phtography. Just a heads up. : )
Will try to see if this will come to my IPhone . .. .will be travelling to Portland and don’t want to miss it . . .let’s hope for a good wireless internet connection in the car.
It’s -8 Degrees C. in southern Alberta and snowing! Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours taking part in this event. Really looking forward to this. Thanks to Art and the CreativeTechs crew.
I may try to sneak in on the second half – have a meeting at the same time.
Will this be made available as a download for all-access members?
What can I say, but AMAZING! Art’s photography is pure art, without paintbrushes. I sat at my computer for 2 hours spellbound with his images and stories. Thank you Art Wolfe and thank you CreativeTechs for giving us the opportunity to watch and learn from the best.
I’m so disappointed … I slept through my alarm and missed this. 5am is sooo hard! Will there be any video clips or will it be archived for those with monthly membership?
Will this class be available to purchase?
I was only able to see part of your class and would like to view the entirety of your presentation, so at the price of sounding redundant, are you going to make it available. If so, could you please email a notice.
Highly appreciated!
To everyone who asked: YES, this video will be completely free. We’ll post it on this page as soon as the video is processed and uploaded.
As a general rule, for our special guest events where the presenter is not charging us a fee, we’ll typically be posting those events for free afterwards.
~Craig
PS> Please do make note of the words “as a general rule” and “typically” — I imagine someday we’ll have an example where we need to charge for those special events, but that’s not happening any time soon.
Thanks Craig, and everyone else who made things happen today. It was awesome to be able to attend.
Had to leave early today. Missed the end of Art’s program. Is it available for download or web viewing? Thank you for such awesome classes.
that was an awesome talk! i learned quite a bit. thanks for doing it!
Guys! you rock and rock and rock over and over again. I just enjoy very much all the classes. I’ve learn a lot with this live classes than by myself. Thank u very much guys! i’m looking forward today’s class with john greengo.

Thanks so much for this great resource. I love Creative Techs and all of these learning opportunities. Truly fabulous!!
loved loved the class by Art Wolfe. I never knew “LIGHT” could be so imporant when trying to get a better pic. thank-you Art Wolfe and creative techs for doing this for us. I love John’s classes but would love if Art Wolfe would also do a series of classes – he has such a unique insight to taking pics. – by a newbie Photographer
I am very inspired to shoot without a flash now and use some different lighting techniques. Art is very talented I’m familiar with his stock photography. I use to do a lot of time exposure shots back in my film days and have forgot how much fun it is to shoot time exposures. I love shooting textures too which Art has some nice texture shots on his website.
I watched yesterday and was so impressed. Great images, great presentation Thank you for your generosity.
Many thanks for posting the free video. I missed the live lecture and was extremely disappointed, but seeing the free video made my day.
I purchased the 10-week course by John Greengo and I am loving it.
Thanks for all your efforts.
fabulous! thanks Art!!
Only caught the end of Art’s presentation and all the Q&A BUT it was enough to impress. I love Art Wolfe’s approach to photography as art. And it is evident in his work. I was also impressed with his values gained from his travels – the world is pretty small and we’re all in this together regardless of culture or economic level.
Question: Thanks for getting Art’s video up so quickly to view. Are you going to provide a download link as well?
Cheryl, there is a download link at the end of this post. Look for the link titled “iTunes Video Podcast: CreativeTechs LIVE Podcast” — that will download an iPod/iPhone optimized version in iTunes.
Will this be available as a full HD download also, maybe for paying/all access customers?
I really enjoyed yesterday’s presentation though I came in late. Art is one of my favorite photographers. I aspire to be like him one day. I am actually watching the entire presentation today. He really did a great job. Very inspiring.
Thanks so much for organizing this event and especially to Art for presenting. It was a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours yesterday, just looking at his amazing images and hearing him talk about light.
My husband (who’s the real photographer and a great admirer of Art’s work) was unable to get out of a meeting with his boss, so he will be thrilled that this video is now online.
Thank you, thank you, Craig, John, Art and the team for making these classes and talks possible. I attend a lot of webinars and the format you have for teaching is WAY better than anyone else’s.
A truly grateful admirer in Kirkland, WA.
I just saw 20 minutes of the show but every single one of those was just awesome. Loved every image Art showed, and I’m really looking forward to going through the video posted!
Thank you SO much!
Tis is a very informative lecture with picture display which was helpful to me to understand the subject.Amin
I really appreciate having this video available and free, as I slept through the time for the class yesterday. Now I just want to go out and try to shoot with an artist’s eye, and Art Wolfe has shown the way. Again, thank you.
This was a fabulous presentation. Thanks so much and especially thanks for provided the video so that I can go back and look and learn for a second time.
Big thanks to Art and CreativeTechs for putting this on, I enjoyed it.
It was truly a pleasure to watch these videos. Art’s photos are mesmerizing. I loved the way he used beautiful work to also weave a lesson on light. Thank you Art, and thank you Creative Techs!
This was a wonderful presentation. Art Wolfe is a wonderful speaker with a dry wit. He always packs a room. Thank you for having him and I look forward to another session with him as the guest speaker.
Thank you Creative Techs … and Art Wolfe for sharing these enjoyable and inspiring sessions. Wonferful!
Missed it last week, and really enjoyed watching the video. This is such a great way to learn, and thank you Creative Tech for arranging for such wonderful and instructional classes!
I missed this GREAT class last week, but had decided to “buy” the download because I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to “hear” Art Wolf talk about light.
I was VERY surprised and HAPPY to see it posted in full and for free! Wow! Thank you Creative Techs for arranging for such wonderful and instructional classes!
Wonderful information, well told. Great images!
