  1. Ellen Ziegler says:

Is this different than the InDesign class last summer?

    • Jason Hoppe says:

This InDesign class is starting off with 10 weeks for the beginner and then leads into 10 weeks of Advanced classes for intermediate users and beyond.

      • Linda R. says:

Jason, you really didn’t answer Sandra’s question. Is this a repeat of the first class or a variation of the first class?

  2. Christina Kitchens says:

Is LIVE meaning that we can learn remotely (over the internet in the comfort of our own homes)? Just confirming before I enroll.

    • Jason Hoppe says:

CreativeTechs LIVE allows you to be at your computer any where in the world so you can watch this while we broadcast this class. This InDesign class starts at 6:30 Pacific Time, January 6th.

  3. katerina says:

    hello,
is this course for beginners?i need to know before i enroll!
    thanks!

    • Jason Hoppe says:

This class is for beginners and also for people who want to brush up on the skills they already know. The first class will be all about moving fast in InDesign CS4 and gives a fast-paced over view of what CS4 can do. Next week we begin with the 10 week class that starts from the basics and builds from there.

  4. Sandra says:

I would like to know if I can follow along with InDesigns CS2?

    • Jason Hoppe says:

You can follow along with CS2, however they are lots of new features that have been added in CS3 and CS4 that we are going to cover. Either way, it would be a good class to learn more about InDesign regardless of the version you use.

  5. Carl Larson says:

I’d be very interested to hear the answers to the above questions! :-)

  6. Kym Patton says:

Is there any way to watch a class after the class is done? Like On-Demand…
    Thank you,
    Kym

    • CreativeTechs Training says:

      Kym -

We record all our classes and make the recordings available for purchase and download. Purchase links for InDesign Essential Skill will go up on this page later this week.

  7. Annette says:

Will you be covering the “BOOK” part of InDesign? You’ve already covered the NEW DOCUMENT in previous courses, it would be nice to see new information, and if people want the OLD information, let them buy the darn course!!! (Which I have!)

  8. sally says:

I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful class last week. I wasn’t able to catch the whole thing, but it amazes me that you make these available for free. If we have to purchase the downloads for review, then so be it, it’s still a GREAT value! I really appreciate what you guys are doing :-)

  9. sally says:

forgot to say that I’m looking forward to this weeks lesson (hopefully my cantankerous toddler won’t interfere this time, lol!)

  10. Karen says:

I am joining after the 1 session has completed. Where can I go to review the material from the first class? The 2nd class is tomorrow, help!

Also, do I need to have InDesign up and running while we are attending the live sessions? I would think I would need 2 computers, one for the web session and one to have InDesign up.

  11. This is a great site, I love the theme you are using. I Stumbled it for you and bookmarked it on Digg.

  12. Jodie says:

You should do one for Illustrator!

  13. is says:

okay so i want to buy the download rights but before i do i need to know if all the past weeks classes are available or just the rest of the series?
    thanks…

  14. Lynn says:

I’m bummed that this is in the evening which is impossible for me to attend. Please let me know if you ever have a daytime session Pacific time.

    Thanks!

  15. Marty says:

When will the February 24th class be available to download? It’s grayed out.
    thanks
