Special Guests: Lesa Snider & Jay Nelson

Wow! We had a GREAT turn-out for our first special guest event. Here is the full video from Lesa’s talk. This video is available free, and won’t expire. If you enjoyed Lesa’s talk, and want to encourage more guest events like this, leave a note of thanks in the comments below. Even better, post a message on Twitter thanking Lesa (@Lesafumi) for joining us at CreativeTechs and linking people to this video.

Lesa Snider: Photoshop Smart Objects.

Smart Objects have been an integral part of Photoshop since CS2, but now they’re more powerful ever. Lesa runs through a bevy of fun, creative projects showing you how Smart Objects and vector art can enhance your creativity in Photoshop.

Lesa.jpgLesa is the chief evangelist for iStockphoto, and author of Photoshop CS4: The Missing Manual. She’s created many video training titles for KelbyTraining.com and Lynda.com. She writes a regular column for Photoshop User, and Macworld magazines, and contributes frequently to CreativePro.com and Layers.

Jay Nelson: OpenType Font Secrets.

Rediscover the magic of beautiful typography through advanced OpenType fonts. Jay will cover a lot of powerful tips that are built into these fonts for an extra boost of typographical creativity — in Adobe’s Creative Suite applications, as well as in QuarkXPress.

Jay.jpgJay publishes Design Tools Monthly, and regularly speaks at graphic design conferences. He also contributes to magazines such as Macworld, Layers, CreativePro.com, and InDesign magazine. He is also the author and presenter of the training video that Quark includes in the box with QuarkXPress 7, and the complete QuarkXPress 8 Essential Training at Lynda.com.

Not finding a link where I can DL the Lesa Snider and Jay Nelson lectures. I am guessing they are not downloadable, but can be viewed by going to the link (http://creativetechs.com/training/special-guests-lesa-snider-jay-nelson/)and watching online. Any chance you will put up the HD for DL, possibly only for paying customers?
